Accessibility Statement
Version 1.1 · Effective August 25, 2026 · Last updated August 25, 2026
Caregiver Compass is built for older family caregivers and for anyone who benefits from a calm, uncluttered experience. We work to make the app usable for everyone.
Caregiver Compass is operated by Oikos Consulting & Management Inc., a corporation incorporated in Ontario, Canada.
What is available today
- Text size, higher contrast, and reduced motion can be adjusted once you are signed in, from your accessibility settings. These settings apply across the app. They are account settings, so they are not available on these public pages.
- A "Skip to main content" link at the start of each public page.
- Visible labels on form fields, rather than placeholder-only labels.
- Alma's guidance is always available as text on screen, whether or not you use voice, and spoken replies can be paused or turned off.
Practices we work to uphold
- Readable text sizes throughout the app.
- Keyboard navigation through the flows caregivers use most.
- Screen-reader compatibility, including labels and page landmarks.
- Clear, visible focus states.
- Sufficient colour contrast for text.
- Touch targets large enough to use comfortably on phones and tablets.
- Meaningful alternative text for images that carry meaning.
These are goals we test against and continue to improve; we do not claim that every screen meets them today.
Feedback
We welcome accessibility feedback. Please email care@aicaregivercompass.com with what you experienced and, if possible, the page you were on and the device you were using.
We do not claim formal accessibility conformance at this time; we describe the practices we are working to uphold and continue to improve.
